Updated Beach Getaway with Room for Eight

I'm surprised by such high reviews because the house is very average. For everything that was above average, there was something that was below average. Most of the downsides were from poor management. The home sleeps 6 but I had to send so many messages because there were only: 2 bowls, 4 forks, no cook-prep knives, 1 kitchen towel, no kitchen wash rags, 4 bath towels, 4 bath hand towels, and 2 wash cloths. It's a major pain to be in a rental where you have to waste your time looking for things only to discover they aren't there and have to send yet another message asking for them. There looked to be a few extra towels in a dirty garage closet next to what appeared to be extra sheets with blood on them, so I wasn't about to even touch those. I also had to ask for a vacuum cleaner. There was a broom but no dust pan and 3 dirty mops. We did have a nice stay, but definitely overpriced with a management company that missed almost all of the bare essentials.

We are new to Airbnb, and it took us a while to find a place we liked because we were specifically looking for a house with a private and fenced backyard and pool area and this house has exactly that. As soon as we walked into the house, we felt at home. The house is specious & very clean. It has a beautiful pool and a BBQ grill where an we spent most of our the time. The kitchen is fully equipped and you can prepare any type of foods, it has even insignificant things such as an ice-cream spoon or a potato peeler...Nothing is missing. It has 2 bicycles, beach chairs & umbrellas, coolers, beach towels, etc, etc...you ask, the house has it. We had such a great and relaxing time that we will definitely book this place again and again and again! Thank you Mike for making out stay a pleasant one.

Thank you very much because I made the reservation for the same day, and thanks to Maike we were able to spend some very pleasant days. The pool is not heated but it is not really necessary, at least in summer. The house is very spacious and comfortable, the only thing I didn't like was that there were hairs in the bed. I think that with better attention to detail they could solve it. For the rest, everything was wonderful.

It was a nice stay. The house was as described. It was just 5 minutes away from Bonita Beach and nearby many restaurants of all kinds. We enjoyed riding the bikes and had a good time at the pool. This is our second summer visiting the property for vacation.

We’ve stayed in this area numerous times and love it. The house was as described and, overall, we enjoyed our stay. There were some issues with the home however. The ice machine didn’t work so we had to purchase all of our ice ($40). When we inquired, we were just told to make sure the door was shut? The kitchen was full of small ants and we ended up having to throw away lots of food ($60). On our last day, the pool boy came in while we were having breakfast before check out time. Lastly, while packing up our vehicle with plenty of time left before check out, the door code was changed remotely and we had to message the host to be able to get back in to get some of our belongings…not okay. In spite of all this, the pool area was great and the home was comfortable and we ended up extending our stay a couple of days. I’d consider the home again if these issues were resolved.

As for the door code, check-out is at 10 AM, and the code automatically changes at that time for security reasons. We did remotely unlock the door so you could retrieve the items you left behind. The location was close to amenities and the surrounding neighborhood was nice. Micheal and team were very responsive to an issue we had the first day with the pool. Unfortunately the pool pump did not run during the day so bugs and debris had to be manually skimmed out. The king bed was uncomfortable and the queen bed was so squeaky any time you moved you woke up. The backyard grill was excellent, clean and cooked our food yummy seafood just perfect. The vanities in the bathrooms are tall with bowl sinks if you have kids, they would not be able to reach the faucet not ideal. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

This home is lovely inside and out. The location is nice, being centrally located to the quaint, downtown Bonita Springs village, the beach, and other areas with shopping and restaurants. Its not very walkable, so you will need transportation, but on the plus side, the neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. The backyard is completely fenced in and very private. The pool is a nice size and there is plenty of space and seating areas outside. The Mike Z team was friendly, professional, and very responsive any time I reached out.

This is my second time staying in a Mike Z property and I cannot say enough positive things about Mike and the team. They are the absolute best. If only I could find a Mike Z property in every city! This place is heaven. Beautiful, pristine, clean, so much space- the air conditioning restriction (keep on 74) had me worried at first but the place stays very cool! I travel with pets and sometimes you stay at pet friendly rentals that smell and look like pet friendly rentals- but not this place. The house even smells good! The pool and backyard are divine. I could have hung out pool side with the dog all day every day. The pool is saltwater and even though it isn’t heated it gets a lot of sun and stayed comfortable. The neighborhood is close to shopping and 75 but it is very, very quiet. Lovely neighbors! Hated having to end my stay at Los Amigos! If you’re on the fence about this property- don’t be. Snatch it up. It’s worth every penny!

Michael was great and very communicative. The pool was great and the house was as pictured. The listed baby items in the home were accurate minus there being only a pack n play, no crib; which as it reads I assumed there were 2 areas for infants to sleep and a puzzle/infant book as the baby toys.

We had an absolute fantastic vacation at this house. Location was perfect! It was so close to everything! Restaurants, grocery stores and the BEACH! This was our first trip to Bonita Springs and we will definitely be back. The house was clean and comfortable. The pool was great, many hours were spent just hanging out and swimming. This was, by far, the best property we have stayed in. The house is as described. The pool is beautiful and its surrounding beautifully decorated with plenty of plants and oudoor furniture. Bedrooms where very comfortable and clean. The whole house was well illuminated, not unly by the amount of lights it had, but for the large windows it has around it. Mike is always accessible via the Airbnb app and will respond right away to any questions or suggestions you may have or need. The house is just about 5 minutes from Bonita Beach, and 15 minutes from Vanderbilt Beach. There are many restaurants and markets in the area. (It is close to US 41) We had a great vacation and will be definetly going back next year. Than you Mike! See you soon!!!

Very clean, nice house. Everything was well laid out (sheets on bed, towels in bathroom) and courtesy toiletries. There was a clear set of house instructions in a binder, with local info. Very hassle free and clean rental experience. The neighborhood was also a very nice, beach house area with modest/ not ostentatious houses but all well cared for. Perfect for a house near the beach, which was what we were looking for. Just for the time being though, people from outside the area should know that many of the beachfront business/restaurants are still closed due to hurricane damage. Very clean, nice house. Everything was well laid out (sheets on bed, towels in bathroom) and courtesy toiletries. There was a clear set of house instructions in a binder, with local info. Very hassle free and clean rental experience. The neighborhood was also a very nice, beach house area with modest/ not ostentatious houses but all well cared for. Perfect for a house near the beach, which was what we were looking for. Just for the time being though, people from outside the area should know that many of the beachfront business/restaurants are still closed due to hurricane damage. The house was very well equipped and looked exactly as pictured in the listing. I love dogs, but couldn't get over the strong smell of a dog that lingered throughout our stay. The outdoor furniture had stains, as well as the towels in the house. I saw a big cockroach in the bathroom. The pool is not heated and was unusable in the somewhat chilly January days. Overall not a bad experience, but I have seen much better value for the price.

Great location. 3 miles to the beach. House is clean and the outside patio and pool is great. Enjoyed our time with our family. The only problem was…hurricane Ian was coming so we left a day early for safety. I highly recommend this property.

Here were the pros to our stay: Convenient location Quiet street Clean Comfy beds. Cons: One of the two bathrooms did not have hot water the entire stay. We contacted Mike several times. His response time - which states is within an hour- was over 12-18 hours later. Ultimately the hot water was never fixed during our stay. I have asked for a partial refund and have not received an answer.

traveling to our new home from Ohio and decided to stay a few Days Inn Bonita Springs. We were so happy we did! Super awesome house, Resort like backyard with pool... kids and dogs loved all the amenities!! minutes away from all the necessities (Publix, restaurants, essentials) and just a short drive to the beach... Very safe and friendly neighborhood great for jogging with the dogs and plenty of parking for both of our cars and U-Haul trailer...Clean, comfortable and very spacious, we will definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! We loved the location. Was close to everything. Was a close drive to the beach! We had an issue with the cable and Mike was very quick to respond and took care of it right away! The only thing is that we wanted to vacuum up and there was no vacuum or broom. Other then that, we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again in the future!

Our vacation was from Sept. 30 until Oct.7th. The entire vacation was quiet and relaxing. The house was very clean, the kitchen was all very clean and contained everything you would need to cook. The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed that very much. The neighborhood was quiet and we did not see any neighbors all week. We enjoyed the entire vacation at Los Amigos and would recommend it to others wanting a quiet and relaxing family vacation whether your family is large or very small like ours. Our entire vacation was very economical.

This place is sooo nice! Away from the crowd but close to everything. Near numerous beaches. The pool was everything. Michael was nice and easy to contact. There are instructions by the door if you ever need help with checking out & things that are close by. Couple cons: the tv in the master bedroom doesn’t turn on, we’ve literally tried everything, however it wasn’t a deal breaker. Also we didn’t see anything about toilet paper or paper towels, so bring your own. Everything else is provided for you. Will definitely book again!

Overall a great place. The inside feels recently renovated, really clean ( valuable in Covid time!) and comfortable. The pool and garden are cute but the furnitures absolutely need some upgrading ( old and rusty ). Overall, the outside need some TLC but we still recommend the place : it is great value for the money. About the location: quaint neighborhood and if you want to be away from crowds: beaches were amazing and empty!

Our stay at this home was an amazing family getaway. Its a very nice, quiet neighborhood! 5 min from supermarkes/gas stations/coffee shops and we were able to hike a trail only 30 min away. Home was extremely clean and taken care of. The only downfall was that the electricity went out in the kitchen the day before our departure and we couldn't find the breaker and when I contacted the host I got no response. Overall great stay !

Thanks for a great visit! It was nice being close to the beach, as it was under 10 mins in the car. We wanted to ride the bikes, but it was SO hot! The beach was beautiful and not over crowded. Water was clear and refreshing. The space was very clean and we enjoyed having the pool to relax next to on days we didnt spend at the beach. The covered patio area had cute lights outside. Overall a very cute and relaxing stay! The team is very quick to respond as well!
