Charming Downtown Retreat with Private Units

Overall functioned as described. Great for our family and guests. Photos are a little misleading as to how the spaces are laid out. Main house and guest space have divided areas for sleep and restroom. Building C is not divided. Unless you are very close with the person you’re staying with in C you will be uncomfortable. Otherwise as stated above served us well.

It was clean and seved our purpose. The batteries in the smoke detector and 2 of the remotes were dead. Replaced them ourselves. No offer of compensation. The wifi did not work. We had streaming on our phones so we made it work.

I rented the whole place for my family of 9 and it was a good fit for us. Each family had their own place and bathroom. We used the kitchen in the back unit for the family meals. The grassy area between the units was a great place for our kids to play while we sat and had coffee in the morning. Overall we had a good experience. We chose this location due to it's proximity to Shangri La Springs for a family wedding.

Great place for multi-generational families. Had our grown kids & grand kids and there was plenty of privacy & the back building was a great gathering space.

The photos MATCH!! We rented the entire compound for a family gathering and wedding in Bonita. Each space has exactly what is needed for comfort and everything was so clean! Michael leaves a lot of supplies - paper goods, cleaning, coffee filters, towels and wash cloths, etc - plus bath supplies! I have been to a lot of air bnbs / but this was by far the best stocked! There are three separate “houses/apartments” all together. This was so convenient for our family, and each family cluster had their own space, own bathrooms and their own kitchens. Old 41 is blocks away and is such a cool district to hang out in. It’s walkable, bicycle friendly, and we also always found parking. A lot of great LOCAL choices for restaurants and coffee. I highly recommend this place, especially to families who might want a little more space - and we def see ourselves coming back in the future. Any questions we had (like - what’s the wifi password) were very quickly and courteously answered.

The pros-Dog friendly, 3 units close to each other for family groups, washer/dryer in each unit; separate kitchen and bath in each unit. Great taco stand behind Bensons grocery. Walking distance survey cafe, Downtown Coffee and Wine and Heaven Shakes Ice Cream. Dennis the handyman was great. The cons-Flooring in units A and B were vinyl plank that were loose and difficult to clean. Floor by back door of unit A felt spongy with a musty odor in the unit. Unit B does not have a thermostat. Unit A controls temperature for A & B. All 3 units share one water heater and it takes a while for warm/hot water to make it to unit C. No dressers in unit. Hurricane Ian had affected the property as stains indicating the water level were visible on the furniture. The sleeper sofa mattress in unit C was moldy and water soaked. A new mattress was eventually sent and a cleaning company was sent to clean the sofa. Wonderful culturally diverse neighborhood. Cover trash or raccoons will get into it.
