The Atlantic beaches of Hutchinson Island and Jensen Beach are a short drive from both homes.

Spring training and golf

The New York Mets play spring training games at Clover Park in Port St. Lucie in February and March, the busiest time to visit. PGA Golf Club at PGA Village is also in Port St. Lucie.

Boating and fishing

The St. Lucie River and the Indian River Lagoon offer calm-water boating and some of the best inshore fishing on the Treasure Coast.
